Sun Oaks facilities include a park, walking areas throughout the community and two swimming pools, which are open from May 15 to October 15. There are also two lighted tennis courts, one with pickle ball lines, a tennis backboard and a basketball hoop. There are two clubhouses, both equipped with kitchen facilities, large TV’s and WiFi, which can be reserved for social events at no cost. The lower clubhouse has a book-lending library, various games and puzzles, foosball table, ping pong table and mens’ and womens’ saunas. The upper clubhouse has a pool table. The recently opened Serenity Garden provides a pleasant diversion while the shady common grounds area in the Townhomes section is an excellent venue for picnics or just relaxing.
